Interior

Het comfort van de klant speelt een centrale rol bij de ontwikkeling van interieursystemen en ‑componenten. Het voertuig moet goed voelen zodra de klant voor het eerst instapt. Het moet het gevoel geven dat typisch is voor dat specifieke automerk en dat het merk duidelijk onderscheidt van andere merken. Bij EDAG weten we wat we moeten doen om ervoor te zorgen dat de allesbepalende eerste indruk positief is.

Exterior

What applies for the interior applies equally for the exterior: the exterior appearance presented by a car must conform to the values typical of the brand. The same also applies to the development of the add-on components. For spoilers, panels, windows, glass roof systems or complete modules, e.g. bumper systems, we are the specialists. In addition, working within a network of OEMs, suppliers and toolmakers, we guarantee active and passive safety requirements, for instance for passenger and pedestrian protection. 

Body In White

New materials, new steel qualities, design amendments – in the course of time, a great many different challenges and technologies have had an effect on a vehicle's body. 

The aim is always the same: optimum product properties at minimum cost and weight. Our task is to ensure that no conflicting aims arise between these new requirements and quality standards. Of course, bearing the subsequent production in mind. We call this production-optimised development. 

Powertrain & chassis integration

It is no longer enough to develop new types of powertrains and chassis concepts. The key lies rather in the intelligent integration within the overall concept or complete vehicle. We accept responsibility for the functional integration of the powertrain and chassis systems in the vehicle.
